The Inspiration

"The scent of the mahogany coated all that was exposed to it's beholder. The full-bodied exotic wood scent latched on to memory formation and lingered like that of a souvenir. This note assumed its own persona; she existed as an omnipresent ghost that followed two steps behind my every move. He always wore a mahogany infused scent, and it wore me right back."
